A 20-year-old Caol Ila bottled by the distillery to celebrate their 150th birthday in 1996.

Nose – Green ferns, digestive biscuits, chocolate, sweet butter, vanilla, smokey charcoal and a touch of leather

Palate – gently peaty, vanilla custard, earth and spicy peat, grapefruit, passionfruit

Overall – long finish, a very special dram – one that will be up there on a list of top whiskies for a long time.
