The 2018 Ardbeg Day Release
For this release Ardbeg used intensely charged wine casks with “grooves” in them to create this single malt whisky.
Described as an intensely “mellow” dram, the flavours of smoked spice combine with distant bonfires fading into a mellow haze of apples and smoked pear.
