Islay’s annual whisky festival, known as the Feis Ile, has grown to be one of the most popular whisky events amoungst collectors and drinkers alike. Every May the Island’s population swells as visitors from all over the world flock to this beautiful Island in search of rare and exciting whiskies. Each distillery now releases between 1 to 3 whiskies ensuring that enthusiasts have a wide selection to choose from.
Bunnahabhain has been releasing two different whiskies for the past few Feis Ile Festivals. This edition is the older release out of the two.
Bunnahabhain senior blender, Dr Kirstie McCallum, created this beautifully balanced whisky by finishing a 12 year old malt in three separate Sauternes wine hogsheads. Two of these casks were then selected and bottled for this years festival bottling.

Cask Strength: 54.2%
Only 1118 bottles were produced and each was sold exclusively on Islay.
