The story behind 105:
“In 1968, George S Grant, filled some Glenfarclas malt directly from the cask as a Christmas gift for the staff, the word soon spread about this powerful and rich whisky. The whisky in question was measured at 105 degrees British Proof which is the equivalent of 60% today, and so cask strength whisky was born”
This bottle celebrates 50 years of 105 – this special bottle is a Glenfarclas malt bottled at age 22 Years old with a cask strength of 60%.
It was a limited edition run with only 3600 bottles produced.
