A truly superb Port Cask Finish from Glengoyne
Since the late 1880’s, Glengoyne has been matured in oak casks that have previously held sherry,
giving wonderfully rich, sweet flavours. Now and again Glengoyne transfer small batches of mature
malt from this wood into alternate casks, carefully selected to add their own complex flavours
through double maturation. Each different wood type used offers an interesting and unique
variations on the traditional Glengoyne Character. This gorgeous whisky has been finished in a
fine Port Cask imparting rich and unique flavours.
Nose – Gingerbread with walnuts and cloves, soft malt and gentle amber wood
Palate – Clean, fruity burst, spicy bubblegum, dried apricot, lemon zest and malt syrup
Finish – Dries, spiced vanilla sponge with citrus and peppermint.
