A beautifully aged Lagavulin: 24 years old and triple matured. The spirit was aged in bourbon casks, px sherry casks and old oak puncheons. There were 3500 bottles released during the 2015 festival and its rumoured they were sold out in three days.
Each bottle is individually numbered and commemorates Feis Ile 2015.
Nose: Peaty, earthy, intensely smoked despite being a grand age of 24 years old
Palate: Wood, spice and sweet apples
Finish: Lingering peat smoke and fire
