Released during Feis Ile 2017, this is Laphroaig’s 10 Year Old Cask Strength release Batch 009
Matured in first fill ex-bourbon casks and released in very small batches annually.
Nose: Iodine, seashore, warm vanilla, citrus fruits and burning peat.
Palate: Lemons, melon, oak spice, sweet and salted butter and smoke.
Finish: Long, lingering smoky sweetness.
