This Ardbeg started life in ex-Bourbon casks and was then finished in ex-rum casks from the Americas.
Tasting Notes:
‘Fragrant pine resin, woodsmoke and sea spray dance alongside ripe bananas and pineapple – a downright wondrous paradiddle of aromas.
Waves of smoke, tar and creosote strut across the palate, before lavander, liquorice and vanilla parade into a long, deliciously complex crescendo of smoke, peat and sweet spices”
